This is the third year I have worked with Camp Adventure™. I’ve worked in Wierzberg, Germany and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. This is my first time in Japan and I’m looking forward to learning more about the culture.
I love to play volleyball, sing, act and dance. I am looking forward to meeting all of the children and their parents and having a great camp experience.
My name is Sean Waxman and I am a junior at the University of Toledo, majoring in Public Administration/International Relations. My past experiences include working at Ladyfield Elementary School in Toledo, Ohio on the management team and I was also highly involved with Camp Adventure™. Prior to my time here at the American Embassy Compound, I worked in Day Camp at Camp Darby, Italy and also in a winter Camp Adventure™ in Wuerzburg, Germany.

My name is Lexis Goodale. I am a 20 years old and will be a senior at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I am studying Biology and hope to pursue a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy once I graduate from U.N.I..
I am a Day Camp counselor and this is my first year participating in Camp Adventure™. I enjoy doing outdoor activities and spending time with my friends.
My name is Diane Schwab. I am from Dayton, Ohio and am a sophomore at Bowling Green State University. I am 19 years old and majoring in Business Management.
I enjoy sports especially tennis and love to be outside.

My name is Rachel Diemer and I am a senior at the University of Iowa majoring in ESL and Reading Education with a minor in Spanish. This is my second year with Camp Adventure™ and I am the Director of the Panther Cubs Camp this summer. Last summer I was on the staff in Germany.
My name is Alison Lautz and I am 21 years old and have just graduated from the University of Iowa. I will be attending the University of Illinois in Chicago next fall, studying for my Master’s Degree in Health Care Social Work.
This is my second year participating in Camp Adventure™. I spent last summer in Hanau, Germany as a Day Camp counselor.
In my free time I enjoy traveling, spending time with my friends and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.

My name is Amy Rochford and I am a senior at the University of Northern Iowa majoring in Education. This is my first summer with Camp Adventure™ and I am on the staff of the Panther Cubs.

My name is Jenn Brooks and I am a senior at the University of Oregon majoring in Education with a minor in Special Education. This is my first summer with Camp Adventure™ and I am on the staff of the Panther Cubs Camp.
My name is Mackenzie Christensen from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. I am a junior majoring in Social Work specializing in conflict resolution.
This is my first year working in Camp Adventure™. I am directing the Aquatics Program. I have worked as a lifeguard and swimming instructor for 7 years. I also teach CPR, Lifeguarding, AED, Preventing Disease Transmission and First Aid at U.N.I.
I like to swim, read, travel and experience new things. I am looking forward to a great summer!
My name is Ashley Pender. I am from Mingo, Iowa. I am 19 years old and a junior at the University of Northern Iowa. I am studying Elementary Education and Severe Disabilities Education.
I love to be outdoors, play sports and listen to music. I am working in the Aquatics Program. I enjoy working with youth of all ages.

My name is Bethany Miller. I graduated from the University of Iowa in May of 2003 with my B.A. in Sociology and a Minor in African American World Studies.
This is my sixth time participating in Camp Adventure™. I have counseled in Dallas/Ft. Worth, Texas and Boston, Massachusetts. I have directed camps in Claremont, New Hampshire; Weisbaden, Germany and Panama City, Florida.
