Hello! I am senior at Western Oregon University majoring in Elementary Education with a specialty in Art. I worked as a Day Camp Counselor in Vicenza, Italy, last summer and at Pine Forest residential camp the summer before. I have worked as a volunteer teacher’s assistant at McKinely Elementary School for 4 years. I love the Arts and the outdoors but my passion is Black and White Photography. I look forward to having an amazing summer!

Hello, I am a senior at the University of Toledo majoring in Social Work. I have run many sport camps in my hometown but this is my first long term camp. I have worked as a handicamp counselor and have coached Special Olympics basketball around my area. I am so excited about the summer and plan on having lots of fun with the kids!

I am a junior at the University of Northern Iowa. I am an Elementary Education major with an emphasis in Special Education. This is my second summer doing Camp Adventure. I did camp last summer in Darmstadt, Germany. In my spare time I like swimming, photography, and scrap booking.
Day Camp Counselor/ Jennifer Lyke
I am a senior at the University of Oregon (Go ducks!). My major is Education and my career goal is to be a 1st grade teacher. I worked as a Day Camp counselor in Vilseck, germany last summer with Camp Adventure. After camp, I traveled to 11 countries last summer backpacking all over Europe. I’ve never been to Asia and my summer goal is to climb Mt. Fuji. For fun I love playing with animals, swimming and traveling.

Hi! I am a Studio Art major at University of Northern Iowa with an emphasis on Graphic Design. I worked as a Day Camp counselor at Zama, Japan last year, and before that worked as a team manager for a Youth Equestrian show team. I love to draw and read, and look forward to a great summer here in Tokyo.

Senior Elementary Education major with an emphasis in Literacy. I worked as a Day Camp counselor last summer in China Lake, California. I worked as a Tot Lot Director for two summers and a Summer Adventure Director for one summer. I am involved with University of Northern Iowa’s Chapter of Habitat for Humanity and love volunteering my time to help others. In my spare time I love to read and have fun!

I am a sophomore at Toledo University. My major is Early Elementary Education. This is my first summer working with Camp Adventure and I am very excited. I have traveled to Australia for 6 months as an exchange student 3 years ago and was born in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland. I love to travel, children, and meeting new people. I also enjoy sports and trying new things.

Hi, I am going to be a sophomore at the University of Iowa. I am an Accounting major and I hope to one day work for the FBI. This is my third year as a Day Camp counselor, however, my first year with Camp Adventure. This is also my first time going overseas. I am very excited for camp to start and to have many new experiences this summer.

I’m from San Diego, California and have practically grown up in classrooms as both my mother and father are educators. This is my first summer as a Camp Adventure counselor but I have worked in both Head Start Centers and inner-city Elementary Schools in Southern California.

I am a junior Early Childhood Education major at the University of Northern Iowa. I worked as a camp counselor at Panama City Beach, Florida last summer. I love to swim, lifeguard, and teach swim lessons. I am excited for camp this summer!
Aquatics Director/ Elizabeth Blair
Graduated from University of Iowa with a BA in Political Science. Born and raised in the great state of Iowa. My third summer doing Camp Adventure. Did Camp Adventure Aquatics program in Sasebo, Japan and Osan, South Korea. Also did a Day Camp in Hawaii for Camp Adventure. This is my 10th year lifeguarding and teaching swimming lessons. For fun I enjoy skiing and reading.

Hey! I recently graduated from Ball State University located in Indiana with majors in Organizational Communication and Political Science and a minor in Aquatics. I have tons of experience working with youth; Day Camps, Boys and Girls Club, Head Start, and many other organizations. I am so excited about this summer! I cannot wait for camp to start!
